A flax tea towel that hangs by the rail and actually dries a plate.
Flax wicks. That is the point of a mill towel: wipe, hang, use again before the next course. Not a costume prop on a hook.
Hotter wash is fine. The more you use it, the less it sheds lint onto glass.
